Bobby Beale has been shunted into favouritism for the first time in the Who Killed Lucy Beale market with Ladbrokes.
The Walford pendulum has swung once again, and punters' cash has now forced the bookies to make Bobby Beale the new favourite to have killed Lucy after seeing a flood of money over night, and the schoolboy is now just chalked up at 3/1.
However, Jane Beale (9/2) and Mick Carter (7/1) are breathing down Bobby's neck in the betting, while there's 8/1 on offer for Abi Branning, Ben Mitchell and Peter Beale to be outed as the East End killer on the prowl.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "As every day passes, a new suspect emerges, and it's Bobby who finds himself at the centre of the latest major gamble."
She added: "It wouldn't surprise us if punters force a new favourite every day. The conspiracy theorists are out in full swing, but the fingers are now pointing at Bobby being revealed as the shock killer on Thursday night."
EastEnders airs all this week on BBC One, starting tonight at 7:30PM.
