What's happening in Emmerdale? Debbie turns violent!

Spoilers Emmerdale

Debbie turns violent this week in Hotten as her increasingly fractured relationship with Chas comes to a hilt and she ends up threatening her with a gun. Will the out of control lass come to her senses?

Monday 22nd April

In the café, Robbie insists to Debbie he is having nothing to do with her plan and does not even want to be seen talking to her. Debbie calls him a coward but Robbie does not rise to it. He asks what she is going to do, but Debbie is hard to read.  Debbie crosses Chas in the street, Chas is surprised when Debbie offers a meek smile. In the Woolpack, Chas is confused when Debbie arrives, wanting to talk. She does not know what to make of Debbie as she appears sincere, Chas goes to get her a drink, leaving Debbie smiling slyly. She tells Chas she is sorry for what she has done and the pair seemingly arrive at a truce. Outside the church, Cain questions Robbie about Debbie’s stunt with Cameron’s kids and is concerned that something else is going on. Robbie considers telling him but decides against it. Lisa has a call from Chas to say she and Debbie are coming to the Dingle family meal. On Main Street, Chas is thrown when Debbie pulls up and offers her a lift to the Dingle’s. Chas feels something is amiss but Debbie forcefully persuades her to get in the car. Debbie drives past the Dingle’s and Chas asks if she has forgotten the way. She thinks Debbie is being petty as she continues driving but she is unsettled when Debbie tells her the only place she is going is to the morgue. Meanwhile, at the Dingle’s, Cain knows something is amiss as Chas and Debbie have not arrived. Jimmy is incredulous when Jude exposes Nicola’s lies to the education authority. Elsewhere, Paddy hesitates signing the partnership paperwork.

Tuesday 23rd April

There is worry all round as Zak’s gun is missing and Jai explains he saw Chas and Debbie driving together. Meanwhile, Chas becomes fearful when Debbie snatches her phone off her when she goes to call Lisa. At the Dingle’s, Cain ponders over what Robbie said to him earlier and there is general unease, as Zak has not found the gun. Charity tries to get hold of Debbie as Zak enters and explains his cartridges have gone and everyone sees how serious it is. Cain and Charity head for the door. In the car, Chas tells Debbie to drop her act but she is genuinely fearful when Debbie gets a gun out of the boot. She forces Chas into the barn, holding the gun, and makes her tie herself to a pipe as Chas fears for her life. Cain and Charity visit Robbie and Cain threatens him, wanting the truth about Debbie. They head off in the car, fearful about what she might have done. In the barn, Debbie slaps Chas in the face, wanting a reaction. Chas is fearful but still has a flicker of anger and tells her about Moira’s miscarriage. Debbie brings a scarf to cover her eyes and Chas is terrified as she hears the shell being inserted into the gun. On the road outside, Charity spots Debbie’s car and tells Cain to drive down the track, wanting him to distract her, she leans over and hits the horn. Chas hears it and shouts for help, Debbie tells her to shut up or she will shoot. Charity and Cain arrive at the barn, Debbie reveals herself, gun in hand. Debbie gets ready to shoot Chas, telling her she is not untouchable like she thinks. She is calm as she says it would be worth it, no matter what happens to her.  Megan tells Ali to get rid of the dog but Ruby thinks it is good for Sean. Ali tells Megan to get a life, leaving her fuming and Ruby thinks that was a bad idea. In the village, Sean tries to teach the dog to respond to his commands when Megan passes and is riled by his comments to her. Megan later visits Ali and tells her she is doing a property inspection tomorrow. Megan is clearly pleased with herself.

Wednesday 24th April

Ruby is tidying for the landlord inspection but Ali is refusing to run round after Megan. Ruby sends Sean out with the dog, saying she will give him a signal when the coast is clear as Ali is determined the dog is staying and they are not bowing down to Megan. Megan is surprised at how tidy Brook looks and imagines her and Robbie living there. However, Ali and Ruby feel the inspection is going well. Megan rearranges the curtains and Sean takes this as he cue to return, entering with the dog, much to Megan’s shock. She says they cannot stay there with it and she is furious when Sean calls the dog ‘Meg’. When she has gone, Ali reassures a worried Sean that Megan does not have the power to evict them.  At the garage, Cain snaps at Dan, and Moira is shocked and worried as Cain tells her what happened with Debbie, it seems he is at the end of his tether.  Meanwhile, Charity tries to get through to Debbie but she thinks she and Cain are on Chas’ side and tells her mum to go.

Rachel is annoyed Megan is threatening to evict Ali and Ruby. Declan is shocked to discover Megan has served the Spencers notice as she wants Brook cottage for herself and Robbie.  Megan later arrives at Brook cottage with Zak to measure up. Ali heads up to Home Farm to ask for Declan’s help and is relieved when Declan tells her to get in the car as they are going to sort things out now. Meanwhile, Rachel realises Megan’s game to move in. Rachel pushes Megan towards the door, leaving Megan furious. Megan then provokes Rachel who punches Megan hard in the face just as Declan and Ali arrive.  Rachel is still ready to take another shot at Megan when Ali and Ruby block her from hitting her again. Megan is furious and wants to call the police to have Rachel done for assault. Later, in the pub Jai defends Rachel, which Charity picks up on. Meanwhile, Rachel attempts to defend her actions but Ali is annoyed and Rachel starts to panic. Megan tells Declan she has not decided yet, whether to call the police and Charity tests Jai over his loyalty to Rachel. Telling him he will have to sack Rachel. At Home Farm, Megan relays what Rachel has done to Sam, adding she should pack a bag ready for being in a police cell.  Meanwhile, Jai is in a panic as he asks Rishi how he can persuade Charity not to fire Rachel and worries what will happen to Archie if Rachel gets sent down. Ali visits Megan and apologises on Rachel’s behalf but is confused when Megan suggests there is only one way to resolve it. Megan delivers her ultimatum. She will not go to the police as long as the Spencer family leave Brook cottage within twenty-four hours. Rachel feels is guilty when Jai comes round, asking what happens if she is taken to prison and social services come for Archie. Charity is intrigued to hear voices and see Jai’s car outside Tenants and goes to investigate. Charity watches from outside as she hears and sees Rachel and Jai argue. She believes her fears are confirmed about Jai being Archie’s father when she sees Rachel storm out, leaving him left holding his son.
