Actor Jeremy Sheffield has joined the cast of Hollyoaks in the role of Patrick Blake, the biological father of Dodger Savage (Danny Mac). Dodger was devastated earlier this year when an old family friend revealed that Dirk (David Kennedy) was not his real father and siblings Will (James Atherton) and Liberty (Abi Philips) were in fact his half brother and sister as they only shared the same Mother.
Dodger’s Mum abandoned the family before they arrived in Hollyoaks so Dodger has been suffering from an identity crisis ever since he found out the shocking news. Dodger has always seen himself as his father’s son – a ‘Savage’ entrepreneur and business man, so to learn that Will is in fact more a Savage than him has been a real hardship.
In the week commencing Monday 19th November Dodger decides it’s time to track down his biological Dad and gets more than he bargained for when he finds Patrick Blake and discovers another shocking family secret – he has a twin sister! Beautiful newcomer Emily Lawrance plays Dodger’s twin Sienna and is set to cause mayhem when she arrives in the village…
Jeremy Sheffield is first seen on screen in week 47. He comments, "I’m very happy to be joining Hollyoaks at a time when things are getting very exciting." Newcomer Emily Lawrance said: ''Joining Hollyoaks is going to be fun and great experience for me. It goes without saying that working with Jeremy is brilliant.''
Sheffield's addition to the cast is the second big casting in just over a week after it was announced recently that former Coronation Street actress Nikki Sanderson is set to play Mitzeee Minniver's (Rachel Shenton's) sister Maxine in the C4 serial!
