Cora Cross to be reunited with long-lost daughter Ava on 'Eastenders'

EastendersEastenders character Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell) is to be reunited with her long-lost daughter Ava on the BBC1 soap later this year, it has been announced.

It was previously speculated that Albert Square returnee Sharon Watts was to turn out to be the long-lost child of Cora however today it has been announced that Family Affairs star Claire Perkins will play Ava who makes her debut in Walford later this year.

Back in the summer, Tanya Branning was seen discovering the truth about Cora's illegitimate child but Cora told her daughter that baby Ava died tragically just after being born.

However, upcoming episodes will see the truth coming out as we see Ava being reunited with her mother, which is bound to come as a huge shock to Cora who believed her daughter to be dead all that time.
