Rob and Rylan’s TV Show Renewed For Third Series

Rob and Rylan are setting off on a brand-new adventure for the third series of their BBC TV show.

This time they’ll be travelling to Greece for their third cultural journey together.

Following their Grand Tour of Italy and Passage to India, the Bafta-winning duo will now explore what the philosophy, art and culture of ancient Greece can teach us about the modern world.

Their trip will take them from the stunning Acropolis in Athens to the Oracle at Delphi, from discovering the warriors of Sparta to uncovering the roots of hedonism on the beaches of Mykonos.

Along the way, they’ll dive into the words and ideas of great thinkers like Socrates, Pericles and Epicurus, and revisit the works of Sappho, Homer and Aristophanes.

Together, they’ll ask whether the lessons of ancient Greece can still guide us in how we live today.

Rob Rinder said: “I can’t quite believe they’re letting us loose again and this time in Greece, a country where every stone and every sea view seems to have an opinion. For me, it’s paradise: philosophy, tragedy, democracy and the sublime.

“For Rylan, it’s sun, cocktails and the occasional god-like tan, but together we’ll prove that culture is never a dusty thing, it’s alive, hilarious and utterly necessary.”

Rylan added: “Exploring Venice and India was nothing short of incredible – from the breathtaking art and elegance of Italy to the vibrant energy and unforgettable experiences in India – it’s been a real adventure.

“I’m thrilled that Greece is our next destination. With its rich history, stunning landscapes, and world-famous hospitality, I can’t wait to see what’s in store – though if I’m not found commandeering a beach club sun lounger and demanding a cocktail by noon, something’s gone very wrong!”
