X Factor 2012 judge Gary Barlow has promised a better pool of finalists than last year.
Speaking to The Sun, Gary admitted that last year's lot of wannabes weren't all up to scratch.
“I think if there was any pressure it’s been dealt with. The talent we have seen this year has been unbelievable," Gary told the newspaper.
He explained: "I’m so pleased as that was my one complaint of last year. I thought we were missing four or five better singers in our final 12.
"It’s been extraordinary this year. Everybody thinks so. I have even heard cameramen saying to each other that it’s a massive improvement."
He added: “The standard has definitely gone up a few notches. I think the audience is going to love it.”
Gary also said he wanted to "savour" this year's show and enjoy it more.
In the interview with the tabloid, the man band front man declared that the live finals would be "unbelievable".
He said: “I want to savour that this year.
"The first live show is going to be unbelievable. We have all different types of singers as well so it’s going to be hard for viewers to choose who to vote for.”
