New X Factor 2012 judge Nicole Scherzinger is reportedly hoping for Tinie Tempah to join her for judges' houses.
The former Pussycat Doll singer, rumoured to have landed the Boys category, is said to want a "current" star to help decide which acts to take through to the live shows.
Just 24 acts remain in the competition at the moment, with those lucky few being flown around the world by their mentor for one last audition before the finals.
According to The Sun, show bosses are happy with Nicole's choice, with Tinie having originally been lined up as a guest judge on the show.
But the newspaper reveals that Professor Green, Labrinth and 50 Cent could all also be possible options to join her at the next stage of the contest.
A show source told the tabloid: “Nicole has the boys and, while she prides herself on being able to spot male talent, she knows having a bloke at her side will help.
"Bosses have come up with several options but Tinie is the one she is keen on, so hopefully he will be free.”
The pressure is on for Nicole after she was installed as the favourite to win the series this month.
Bookies Ladbrokes have given her a 6/4 chance of being crowned the winning judge in her full series début.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: "Scherzinger's already got her claws on the winner.
"History shows that the boys always do well and we expect this year to be no different with Nicole in charge of them."
The X Factor starts on August 18 on ITV1.
