Music producer Jim Beanz has been working with the girls on the record, due out in the autumn.
Having already sent Cheryl Cole's latest record to the top of the charts, Beanz is no doubt hoping to give similar success to Little Mix.
“They told me they were looking for up-tempo, dancey, clubbing records," he said. “I got the girls in the booths, we had a great session and got two great tracks.
“They are going for a very strong, independent, girl power-type album."
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, he continued: “They reminded me of Destiny’s Child when they first came out.
“They have the same energy and individual styles.”
The girls made history when they won the show last year, becoming the first group ever to win the series in eight years.
Their first single, the Beyonce inspired Wings, will be released later this month.
