The X Factor 2012 judges' categories have apparently been revealed, with Gary Barlow said to be stuck with the notoriously tricky Over 25's!
According to The Sun, show boss Simon Cowell recently called up the panel personally to tell them which of the teams they'll be mentoring this year.
Barlow now faces an uphill battle for victory with the overs category, which has only ever produced one winner - Steve Brookstein in 2004 - and has not been represented in a final since Olly Murs came second in 2009.
Tulisa - who triumphed in last year's series with Little Mix - has been given the girls, and new full-time judge Nicole Scherzinger has the boys.
Predictably, this leaves Louis Walsh with the groups. He has only had a category other than the groups or overs once - the 16-24s in 2005.
A insider commented: "Gary doesn’t like joke acts and the Overs category is often full of novelty acts.
"In the past, when Louis has mentored them, the public got used to jokey acts like Wagner Carrilho and Johnny Robinson."
Meanwhile, The Take That frontman has apparently decided on Mallorca as his destination for the Judges' Houses stage after persuading his pregnant wife Dawn, who is due to give birth in the week it is filmed.
Bandmate Robbie Williams - who's also expecting a baby at around the same time - is set to join him, while Tulisa is planning to head to the Carribean.
The source said: "For men as rich as Gary and Robbie, Mallorca is only a couple of hours away. They’ve worked out a way they can jet back if they need to."
The X Factor returns to ITV1 next month.
