X Factor 2012: Girl group From Above make bootcamp... but not without complaints

X Factor

Girl group From Above have caused controversy on The X Factor 2012, with claims from other contestants that it's "unfair" they're allowed to compete in the competition.

The five piece group are managed by dad of superstar Beyonce, and have already released their own album and have had their own reality TV series on MTV.

But this year's rule change mean that the group can still take part in The X Factor.

Manager Mathew Knowles discovered the group in 2008, and will no doubt he hoping the exposure of the show will boost their appeal.

But it's put off other wannabes, who don't have the same support or experience.

One "enraged" group told The Sun today: “It's disgusting. The X Factor is supposed to be about discovering raw, new talent.”
