Geri Halliwell is said to be upset that Mel B will also be guest judging on The X Factor 2012.
It's been reported that Mel will be joining the panel at auditions in Manchester next week, following Geri's stint as a guest judge in Liverpool last month.
But it'll mean that the former Spice Girls go head to head to join the show permanently as the fourth judge.
After Kelly Rowland quit the show earlier this year, bosses are in need of a replacement to join Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos full time.
According to the Daily Mail, Geri has been annoyed by Mel also going for the job.
A source told the newspaper: "Geri feels it is disloyal of Mel B.
"But Mel has always done what is best for Mel, and that’s why her relationship with the rest of the band is so frosty."
However it doesn't appear as though either will get it.
Following her poor reception in Liverpool, insiders say there's only the "smallest chance" that Geri will be asked to sign up up full time.
While Mel B's schedule is likely to clash with her work on the Australian version of the show.
The X Factor 2012 returns to ITV1 in the summer.
