Rita Ora (X Factor 2012)

Rita Ora has said she's up for becoming a permanent judge on The X Factor 2012.

The young singer impressed show bosses during her stint as guest judge on Monday, and was asked to return yesterday.

Speaking to Capital FM, Rita said she enjoyed her time judging auditions at London's O2 Arena this week.

"I said, whenever they need me, give me a call!" the 21-year-old singer revealed. "I mean, obviously, I'm doing my own shows and I've got my album coming out, I'm still finishing my album.

"So obviously my music is the most important [thing], but there's a mixture," Rita teased. "Whenever I can of course I'll be right back here!"

X Factor boss Simon Cowell is said to be after the R.I.P singer to replace Kelly Rowland, who quit the show earlier this year.

Nicole Scherzinger is the latest guest judge at today's London auditions, with a permanent judge expected to be announced for the bootcamp stages.
