Simon Cowell has issued a public apology to those involve in the revelations in his unauthorised biography.
Speaking at the launch of the book, Simon said sorry to stars including Dannii Minogue, Cheryl Cole and Gary Barlow.
The book claimed that Simon had a fling with Aussie popstar Dannii, wanted to bed Girls Aloud singer Cheryl and hoped to fire "boring" Gary Barlow.
"I have to apologise to members of my family," declared Simon last night. “However, 10 years ago, if I knew someone would be writing a book about me saying I’d made loads of money and s****ed loads of girls, I would have said, ‘Great’.”
Not much has changed then!
But the music mogul revealed how he "spent the week under his pillow" after stories from the book hit the front pages.
He went on: "I banned newspapers from my house.
"I knew it was bad because friends were sending me sweet messages saying, ‘Are you ok?’”
Showing no hard feelings to author Tom Bower however, Simon added: “I’m bringing out my own book - the sordid sexual life of Tom Bower.”
