Ronan Keating has said he'd love to join The X Factor 2012 UK and move out of Australia.
The Boyzone star has been a judge on the Australian version of the show since 2010, but admitted he'd love the chance to be closer to his family by appearing on the British series.
“I would love it, I would be close to my kids. That would be an absolute dream, it’s tough being so far from home," the Irish singer said.
But keen not to get himself sacked, he added: "But it’s a great job and I’m enjoying it down there [in Australia].
“If I got an offer here [in the UK], of course I’d do it.”
Ronan, who announced a split from his wife of 14 years earlier this month, also insisted he was loyal to The X Factor after competition from The Voice.
The Aussie version of the new singing contest launched to the highest ratings of any new reality series in the country last week.
"The Voice is a great show. But I’m loyal to 'X Factor', I do love it," Ronan said.
