Take Me Out legend Damion Merry has reportedly auditioned for The X Factor, after shocking viewers with is appearance on the ITV1 dating show earlier this year.
The wannabe model appeared on the Saturday night programme in February, and ended up insulting most of the girls, yet still managed to get a date.
Now the 27-year-old has tried his hand at singing, performing at the latest X Factor auditions in London on Saturday.
“He turned up and was quite cocky, as though we were supposed to know who he was. But then it clicked — we did know who he was. He was the arrogant one from Take Me Out," a source told The Sun.
“To be fair he didn’t have the worst singing voice in the world, so we put him through.
“Now he might get to try out in front of the judges so we’ll leave it to Gary Barlow and the others to determine if he’s actually any good.”
Self-proclaimed Rock God David Wilder, who made it as far as bootcamp on last year's show, was also back for a second attempt.
The X Factor returns to telly in the summer.
