The X Factor's Cher Lloyd says she would audition for The Voice UK!

Cher LloydFormer X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd claims she would have tried out for rival show The Voice UK had she not already hit the big time!

Talking to the Daily Star, the 18-year-old praised the new BBC One talent contest, saying: "This is a great opportunity for people to be judged on their voice and not the way they look. I would’ve given that show a crack."

We don't think her comments will go down well with her boss Simon Cowell, seeing as The Voice triumphed in its ratings battle with Britain's Got Talent for the first time on Saturday!

Cher came fourth in The X Factor in 2010, and has since released three top 40 singles - including her number 1 hit 'Swagger Jagger'.

She is currently touring the UK in support of her album, 'Sticks + Stones'.
