A group who have styled themselves on the hit US TV show Glee have auditioned for The X Factor.
The Vocally Aires hope their modern twist on the old English tradition of acapella Glee music will convince bosses to put them in front of the judges.
The 10 strong group is possibly one of the biggest ever to try out for The X Factor, and is made up of all male students from Northampton.
A source close to the boys said: "They didn't want to audition for Britain's Got Talent because they're not in this for the money. They want a record contract."
"They want to show that a cappella music can be cool and can do well in the charts."
We revealed earlier this year that more groups than ever have been trying out for the show, following the success of One Direction and Little Mix over the past two years.
The X Factor 2012 auditions conclude in London on Saturday.
