The Voice UK host Reggie Yates has taken yet another swipe at The X Factor, saying it's too contrived.
The Radio 1 DJ claimed that his show, which was watched by over 10 million viewers on Saturday night, is much more – yes, you’ve guessed it - credible.
"Our show doesn't feel contrived, it feels credible," said Reggie last week, explaining the different between The Voice and X Factor.
“The fact that we have coaches instead of judges is a big thing."
He explained: "It changes the way feedback’s given - they won't criticise someone's outfit."
Reggie also made a dig at X Factor hosts Dermot O'Leary, Caroline Flack and Olly Murs for stealing the limelight on the ITV1 show!
He said: “Holly and I aren't the stars of the show - the artists and the coaches are and we're merely here to guide them.”
The Voice UK continues on Saturday night on BBC One.
