Simon Cowell wants Voice UK coach Jessie J to join The X Factor!

Jessie J (The Voice UK)

Simon Cowell is reportedly after The Voice UK Jessie J for The X Factor, wanting to pinch the star after just one episode of the new BBC series has aired.

We told last night how Simon wanted to 'snap up' Jessie J, and now sources have claimed she'd be "perfect" for The X Factor.

"Jessie is interesting, talented and credible with her own identity," an insider in Simon's camp told the Daily Mirror today.

Jessie last year appeared on the show, helping out Tulisa and judges’ houses, and also performed her latest single Who You Are on the live shows in November.

A supposed TV insider added: “She would be perfect for the X Factor. Simon could double her salary but he knows she isn’t only motivated by money. He can also give her the best possible platform to take her career to the next level.

"Being on stage in front of 10 million-plus people every week and performing a couple of times a series would be a major draw for someone like Jess.”

Simon is sure to be able to tempt the Domino singer over to ITV1 with more money, but Jessie last night made it clear she was not in it for a big fee.

The Brit star, who is a coach on The Voice alongside Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Danny O'Donoghue, said: "The Voice is about celebrating talent and passion."

And taking a swipe at shows like The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent, she added: "Not laughing at people.... This is EXACTLY why I chose to be on #thevoiceuk"
