X Factor stars JLS have been banned from staying in city centre hotels by their insurance company.
The X Factor runners up are currently on their second arena tour, but have been forced to sleep away from venues over safety fears due to the huge crowds of fans they attract.
The Daily Mirror reports that the new restrictions follow some 'close calls' in the past with some fanatical supporters of the group managing to make their way into hotel rooms and even the boys' tour bus.
“The boys are used to being chased around by screaming teenage girls, but when it came to booking hotels for the tour, security costs would have doubled to prevent similar occurrences to last year," a source told the newspaper.
“One girl broke on to their bus with ‘Happy Birthday Oritse!’ written on her naked torso and another climbed over Aston’s balcony into his bedroom.
“It was decided security needed to be stepped up a gear to ensure the boys remain safe.”
The insider added: “The last bill was astronomical.”
JLS kicked off their 4th Dimension Tour in Liverpool last month, and will continue on the road until May.
