X Factor stars One Direction have scored a number one album in the USA, shifting an impressive 177,000 copies in the past week alone.
The feat also makes history, with the group becoming the first ever UK stars to debut at number one on album charts, outdoing even The Beatles who hit number four.
It's the third number one US album from a UK reality telly star, following in the footsteps of former X Factor winner Leona Lewis and Britain's Got Talent runner up Susan Boyle.
Somewhat ironically, it was a fellow Brit that the boys had to knock off the US top spot, with Adele down to second position having sold a further 160,000 copies of her record 21.
The singer's 2008 album 19 is also still selling strongly, shifting an impressive 22,000 copies to land at number ten on the charts.
It's the first of at least three US album releases from The X Factor 2010 finalists, with runner up Rebecca Ferguson and fourth placed Cher Lloyd also gearing up to promote their debut records in the country over the next two months.
