X Factor runner up Marcus Collins has said he's “thrilled" that his mentor Gary Barlow will be back on the show this year.
It was reported this morning that Gary Barlow was in talks with X Factor bosses, and is due to be back behind the judges' desk in the summer.
Marcus, who Gary mentored to second place on last year's show, said he was pleased to hear the news, and said whoever gets him as a mentor will be very “lucky”.
Praising the Take That star, Marcus told EntertainmentWise: “Whoever gets Gary is going to be really blessed because he will stick by you.
"It will be great because he is just so involved with everything."
But Marcus insisted he didn't know anything about whether any of the other judges would be returning to the show.
He explained: "I don’t really know, I wish I did everyone keeps asking me like I know, why are they going to tell me? I don’t know.”
And the cheeky Liverpudlian singer suggested one day it could well be him judging on The X Factor!
He added: “Maybe in ten years time. I don’t know if anyone would take my criticism seriously, I’m not at Gary Barlow’s standard yet."
Marcus' debut single Seven Nation Army will be released on March 5.
