The X Factor 2012 live tour is just a few weeks from kicking off in Manchester, and Janet Devlin is one of the nine acts set to appear in the arena concert.
Joining the bronze-haired singer on her travels will be Misha B, Marcus Collins, Johnny Robinson, Craig Colton, Little Mix, The Risk, Kitty Brucknell, and Amelia Lily.
"It has always been my major aim to get on The X Factor Tour ever since I got through to the live shows," Janet says. "Performing live in front of an audience is what I have always been working towards."
And the tour is set to be a big earner for 17-year-old Janet, with sources claiming the Irish star could make up to 150,000 Euros from the 32-date event.
“Only a few years ago, the contestants were lucky to make €60,000 or so from the tour," a source explains. “If you go back even further to the first or second X Factor tour, I think the contestants were being paid €500 - €700 a show or something like that.
"The show has got bigger and so have the tours and now each of the contestants can expect to make, well €150,000."
The insider added: “They also get a cut of merchandising. It's now a very lucrative couple of months work for the contestants."
Janet will be performing Coldplay's Fix You and Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N' Roses amongst her set when the X Factor tour kicks off at the end of this month.
After Manchester, the show will go on to visit venues in locations including London, Liverpool, Newcastle, Brighton, Birmingham, Nottingham, Sheffield, Glasgow and Belfast.
