X Factor runner up Marcus Collins has revealed his former mentor on the show Gary Barlow has written songs for his debut album.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday today, Marcus explained that he had also written a second track alongside the Take That star too.
“There are only three covers," the 23-year-old explained. "There are songs I’ve written with Gary Barlow, a song he wrote for me and other originals.
“The one Gary wrote is an up-tempo track called Innocence, which will surprise a lot of people."
And he added: “It’s still possible that he might feature on the album in some way, but there won’t be any duets.”
Marcus will be the first of last year’s X Factor finalists to release an album, with winners Little Mix planning to put out their single in April.
Marcus’ debut single - a cover of Seven Nation Army - will be out on March 4, just days after he starts this year’s X Factor live tour in Manchester.
