Alexandra Burke has said she'd be up for taking on a permanent role on The X Factor UK after her guest stint last year.
Despite previously admitting to not being able to watch herself back when she appeared last October to stand in for an ill Kelly Rowland, Alex revealed this week she wouldn’t hesitate in having another go.
"I had a blast and would do it again in a heartbeat," she said, but confessed that her guest spot on last year's series was tough going. "Seeing Sophie Habibis having to leave the show really upset me," Alex added.
She continued: "It was very, very, very surreal. It was an honour to be asked to be a judge. I’d been a contestant on the show, so I knew exactly what they were all going through as contestants.
"I could only give constructive criticism and I could only speak from the heart."
Meanwhile giving advice to this year's hopefuls, Alex said: "Make sure that even if you don’t win the show, you're successful. Look at Olly and JLS - it shows that if you work hard the rewards will follow."
Alex releases her new single Elephant next month.
