The Risk, who were a shock exit in last year's show in Week 5, are determined to stick together as they prepare for next month's live tour.
And lead singer Charlie reveals how previous X Factor runners up JLS have been brilliant in offering help since meeting them at the recording of last year's charity single.
"Since the show it’s all been positive,” Charlie told the Coventry Telegraph this week. “We still keep in touch with Marvin and Aston.
“They’re just really nice blokes. It’s incredible how much success they have had yet they are still the same people who were on the show.
“Marvin said that if there’s anything he can help with get in touch and since them I’ve asked him a few things about the industry. He has been really helpful. It’s great to have someone like that to talk to.”
And Charlie revealed that the group were already recording and preparing to release music together.
“I did love the show – it was an amazing experience and we learnt a lot – but we were singing other people’s songs and it’s difficult to get emotionally attached," he explained.
“Now we are sitting down and talking about what we want our first single to be about. It’s what we want to be doing."
The Risk will be one of nine acts on The X Factor live tour which starts in Manchester next month.
