Sharon Osbourne rules out returning as a judge for X Factor All-Stars

Original star of ITV show says "that part of my life is gone"

Sharon Osbourne says she WON’T be returning to the judging panel on The X Factor’s upcoming ‘All-Stars’ spin-off.

Simon Cowell’s latest radical revamp of the ITV music show means he’s planning to postpone the next regular series.

Instead, he intends to air two spin-offs this year: one with celebrity contestants, and one featuring ‘all-star’ fan favourites from previous years.

They might not be the only familiar faces involved, as rumours suggest Simon also wants to welcome back past judges.

However, it seems Sharon Osbourne – one of The X Factor’s original stars – won’t be one of them.

Speaking on Loose Women today, the music manager hinted that she has now bid farewell to the talent contest for good.

Asked whether she’d be making a comeback, Sharon said: “No. I mean, nobody’s asked me, but no.

“I absolutely had the best time, met great amazing people, had the best fun, was naughty, had a laugh, you know.

“But that part of my life is gone, and you can’t go back. I have to move on for myself.”

Sharon’s most recent X Factor stint began in 2016, but she left again last year after her role was downgraded.

In March, she alleged that Simon fired her from the panel mid-contract for being “too old”.

Recent reports suggest that Dannii Minogue – who famously had a feud with Sharon – is in talks to rejoin X Factor for the first time in nine years.

Tulisa Contostavlos, former mentor of superstar girl group Little Mix, has also expressed interest in returning.

Robbie and Ayda Williams both recently departed the show, although Louis Tomlinson’s future on the panel remains unclear.

Meanwhile, contestants on the show could include former winners such as Leona Lewis and Shayne Ward.

Acts such as Jedward and Honey G are also rumoured to make a comeback.

The X Factor is due to return in the Autumn, although exact scheduling plans remain unclear.
