X Factor winners Rak-Su have released their brand new single following a split from Simon Cowell's record label.
Rak-Su won The X Factor back in 2017 after winning over viewers with their original songs.
But last year it was revealed they, along with fellow X Factor winners Little Mix, had left Simon's Syco record company following a dispute between label and management companies.
Speaking as they released new song Yours Or Mine, the group have said it has been a "frustrating" and "confusing" time behind the scenes.
Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland, Myles Stephenson and Mustafa Rahimtulla make up Rak-Su, who are now signed to RCA together with Little Mix.
Ashley told The Sun newspaper: “How was it last year? Frustrating, confusing mostly because it affected us putting out music.
“When we came off The X Factor there were suddenly a lot of cooks in the kitchen. It has taken us a while to get back to where we were before.”
Myles added: “Since we’ve been on RCA we’ve released the Rome EP, filmed four videos and released Yours Or Mine, so for us, as long as music is released, we’re happy.”
However they insisted that there's no bad blood between them and Simon, with the music mogul meeting the group to wish them luck with their album.
Ashley revealed: “Simon said, ‘I had faith in you guys, I just want what is best for you going forward’.”
Along with the release of their new music, Rak-Su will be hitting the road soon with Olly Murs on his Greatest Hits tour.
