The X Factor was back tonight and retuned to the arena auditions in front of the judges and a 4,000 strong audience.
Those auditioning faced the brand new panel made up of Simon Cowell, Robbie Williams, Ayda Williams and Louis Tomlinson.
One of the first acts to sing for the judges was teenager Molly Scott from County Durham.
"When I was younger we used to go on holiday and I loved to go on the karaoke. I've been singing since I was around 6 and it's my biggest passion," she said.
Molly was joined at her audition by her nan who said: "I'm so proud of you. Something I always wanted to do was young, I wanted to be a singer but I didn't have any confidence going on the stage so I want you to do that for me."
"This is what I want to do for the rest of my life," added Molly.
The youngster went on to sing her Nan's favourite son, James Brown's Man's World.
After singing, Kieza was left in tears as the judges praised her voice.
Robbie declared: "You're ready for this. "
Ayda added: "You might have sung It's A Man's World but it's officially a woman's world. I think you have a phenomenal voice."
Louis commented "Molly, I'm not going to lie, I'm a little bit lost for words. That vocal you just delivered, it was like watching a little Christina Aguilera. It was unbelievable. Honestly, shocking, amazing, fantastic, well done."
And Simon Cowell concluded: "You have amazing humility for someone who has so much talent. This was a great first audition for you. I think there's even bigger places for you to go right now."
Other acts in Saturday's opening episode included boy band No Labels, made up of Ollie, Jake, Jordan and Ben who cover Justin Timberlake's Suit and Tie.
Meanwhile, Danny Tetley belted out Jennifer Hudson's And I’m Telling You while Ross Alexander sang The Thompson Twins' Doctor Doctor for the panel as the seasoned kicks off.
Other contestants hoping for a yes in the opening week were 15-year-old Kezia Povey and 17-year-old Charlotte Lee from Doncaster.
