As The X Factor 2018 gets nearer, here's all we know about the new series.
From the rumoured X Factor 2018 start date to the confirmed judges and hosts, this is all about series 15...
X Factor 2018 judges and hosts
This year sees new X Factor 2018 judges Ayda Williams, Robbie Williams and Louis Tomlinson join Simon Cowell on the panel.
Simon said: “This new panel is all about optimism, everyone has a real passion for finding a new star. The three new judges bring a whole new energy and I’m excited.”
Robbie added: “For nearly 30 years I’ve been touring. I’ve been wanting to branch out and The X Factor felt like the perfect vehicle. Ayda is my rock, she’s looked after me through thick and thin. I’m looking forward to getting started as a judge!”
Ayda commented: “On a professional level I’ve auditioned for years so I know the highs and lows. I know what it takes to help people achieve their dreams. It’s all about the auditionees, it’s an organic process. The fact I get to work with Rob and against him is fantastic!”
Louis said: “The X Factor for me made a lot of sense. Development of artists is something I’ve been interested in for a long time. Having been on the show myself I know first-hand that the live shows are like nothing else you would experience. I’m looking forward to guiding auditonees through the process.”
Meanwhile, Dermot O'Leary will be back in charge of hosting the main show and it's no real surprise: There is no one else we can even imagine that would be able to do as good a job!
X Factor 2018 air date
As yet The X Factor UK doesn't have an official confirmed launch date.
However the series has been confirmed to begin next month (September)
Assuming nothing changes and the show is back on Saturday nights, it's likely to kick off on September 1.
X Factor 2018 spoilers
The arena auditions return
The arena auditions are back once again! ITV have confirmed this year the first round will head out of the rooms, saying: "It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity for the acts who come to audition, so why not pair up the biggest performance of their lives an incredible Arena atmosphere in front of thousands of people… and the Judges of course."
X Factor judges' categories
Meanwhile, the X Factor judges' categories have been confirmed ahead of six chair challenge.
This series Simon has got the Girls, Louis will make his X Factor debut with the Boys and Ayda's first series will see her looking after the Overs.
That leaves former Take That man Robbie with the Groups for his first ever series.
Bootcamp axed and new six chair twist
This year, bootcamp has been scrapped with acts instead going straight through to the six chair challenge from their audition.
Six chair challenge will see a new Britain's Got Talent golden buzzer style twist. Each judge can put one act straight through to judges' houses in a 'safe seat'.
“This year each of our judges has one Guaranteed Safe Seat to give away in this round," a source told The Sun newspaper. "If the judge likes an act enough and they definitely want to see them at judges houses they’ll press this golden X and give that act a Safe Seat.
“This means the act cannot be swapped out of their chair and they’ll go straight through to judges houses.”
The X Factor airs on ITV.
