As yet the judges for The X Factor 2018 have not been confirmed.
Head judge Simon Cowell is returning, and he is expected to confirm that Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne will again be in board, but there will be space for at least one new judge after it was reported Nicole Scherzinger would not be back.
Cheryl was widely expected to return for her third stint on the show, but it's since been reported she'll instead be joining BBC show The Greatest Dancer.
Mel B, who was a judge in 2014, has now said she's up for a comeback.
The Spice Girl told The Sun newspaper: "I love doing X Factor and I love the UK, so if that opportunity came up and I had time to do it, then yeah.
“I mean I come back to London so often for work.”
However Mel told OK! Magazine that she's not been asked to return just yet.
Sources have claimed that Mel reportedly faces legal issues related to her ex-husband and daughter in America.
“Mel would really like to return home to the UK for a spot on The X Factor," a source told the Daily Star. “The chemistry with Simon on the new series of America’s Got Talent is really strong, so bringing her back is an option.
“But the legal issues that she faces over her daughter Madison are tough.”
With the bookies, 2015 judge Rita Ora is the current favourite to replace Nicole.
The X Factor 2018 will air on ITV in the autumn.
