Saara Aalto invites The X Factor judges to her wedding
Saara Aalto has revealed she’s invited The X Factor judges to her wedding.
The X Factor runner up of the 2016 series is hoping Nicole Scherzinger will sing at the ceremony later this year.
“We’re thinking of having a summer wedding,” Saara revealed this week. “I have already been wedding dress shopping and it was so much fun.
“I love wedding dresses.”
Saara, who is engaged to girlfriend Meri, told The Sun newspaper: “I would love Nicole Scherzinger to sing at the wedding and of course Sharon Osbourne has to attend.
“I saw them both at the Pride of Britain Awards and we all had such a great catch up. Sharon gave me judging tips as I’m now a judge on The X Factor Finland. She said ‘Be you and be bold!’”
Simon Cowell also has an invite, despite “drama” when Saara left his record label to sign to a rival.
She revealed to the tabloid: “I will invite Simon too. There was a whole drama that I had left Sony to go to Warner, but there is no bad blood between us at all.
“I’m the X Factor Finland judge we still have a great relationship.”
Saara is competing in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest for Finland, announcing previously (via Eurovision.tv): “I know that this journey is going to be fantastic regardless of the results of the actual competition.”
She joked: “I’m of course jumping right in with the attitude that I can win the Eurovision Song Contest – or at least finish in second place! That’s something I’ve been great at, no doubt about it.”
Eurovision 2018 will air in May from Lisbon, Portugal.
The UK Eurovision act for 2018 was confirmed last month. SuRie and her song Storm, written by Nicole Blair, Gil Lewis and Sean Hargreaves, will head to Lisbon in May after being chosen in a live show.
