X Factor’s Sam Lavery is going on her very own tour in 2018.

The 2016 finalist has announced dates in Birmingham, Stockton-On-Tees, London and Newcastle.

Sam told the Sunderland Echo of her headlining tour: “I am so excited for my tour, not only to show everyone the new music I’ve been working on, but to meet everyone who has supported me throughout my journey so far.

“The atmosphere is going to be electric and I can’t wait to get on stage in front of everyone.”

Meanwhile, after performing in The X Factor’s live tour earlier this year, Sam’s new song Beat Of You is out now to download and stream.

Speaking earlier this year, Sam said she was in the studio writing original songs following her appearance on The X Factor in 2016.

Sam said: “I’ve watched The X Factor all my life and always looked up to the artists that have come from the show and made successful careers for themselves.

“I’ve always wanted to enter the show and as soon as I turned 16, I applied.

“The whole experience was amazing and taught me so much about myself, whilst helping to learn about the artist I wanted to be. It has given me so much confidence.

“I feel so lucky to get where I did in the competition and it has given me an amazing platform for me to grow and work hard on my music career.”

Talking about her future plans, Samantha added: “I’m so excited to be writing my own original music and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who is supporting me on my journey. It has been and still is incredible. ”

The X Factor will return to ITV in 2018.
