X Factor 2017's Grace Davies has spoken out over THOSE backstage rumours about herself and Matt Linnen.
It was reported earlier this month that the contestants had hooked up behind the scenes.
The pair are alleged to have slept together in The X Factor house - but aren't officially in a relationship.
"It was basically just for fun," a source said of their reported fling. "They now act as if nothing has happened."
Following Grace and Matt's supposed hook up, an insider claimed that contestants in the house were "super horny"
"This is the sexiest series yet," they told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper. "There are a lot of attractive people in the house so some contestants are bound to be hooking up.
"But contestants are worried that people talking about flings will affect the votes - they’re petrified their fans will turn their back on them.
"Nobody has done anything wrong, at the end of the day Grace and Matt are both single."
Discussing the report, Grace played down the "rumours" and insisted she and Matt were just pals.
"There have been lot of rumours but we're just good friends," Grace told OK! magazine this week.
She added: "The only romance in the house [has been] the bromance between Matt and Kevin!"
Grace is one of the final three contestants on this year's show, competing for victory this weekend.
The X Factor 2017 is back this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV with the final round of live shows.
Guest performers over the weekend include Little Mix, P!nk and Sam Smith.
The weekend's first live show begins at 7:05PM on Saturday night.
