However unlike last weekend, where just one singer was turned away, this week saw number more fail when facing Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and guest judge Alesha Dixon.

On Saturday night, the successful acts included VIP airport concierge Talia Dean, who had been encouraged to audition after a chance encounter with Nicole and Scherzinger at Heathrow Airport.

Liaa impressed with a Kelly Clarkson track, Drew Wedlake covered Seven Nation Army to get four yeses and group New Dynamixx got to bootcamp off the back of a Little Mix track.

Frenchman Kevin Davy White won over everyone - but particularly Nicole - with his take on James Brown's Man's World before Rebecca Grace closed the night with a cover of Kelly Clarkson's Piece by Piece.

On Sunday night, The Cutkelvins were the first to get through as the family were compared to the Black Eyed Peas by Simon Cowell.

Guys SJ Hill and Harrison Styles quickly followed The Cutkelvins through to bootcamp before Daniel Quick joined them after singing Elton John's Your Song.

We then met a number of contestants who had flown in from afar to sing for the judges, and fortunately it was worth the trip.

Filipino boy band JBK and Aussie Elysa both got into bootcamp, together with Deanna Deanna, a 22-year-old musician from Anguilla, a British colony in the Caribbean.

Closing the night was Aidan Martin, a 27-year-old barman from London who got four yeses.
