Honey G turns down Celebrity Big Brother to work on her debut album

X Factor's Honey G has reportedly turned down Celebrity Big Brother to work on her debut album.

The UK's hottest new rapper (her words) had been linked to this summer's CBB.

But her manager has said we definitely won't be seeing Honey G in the house this year as she's working on her album.

Honey G's agent told the Mirror newspaper: "Her priority is concentrating on her music, rapping and producing. She's currently busy writing her album."

After her first single earlier this year with Simon Cowell's Syco record label, Honey G has since parted ways from Simon to instead set up her own label called H to the O Music.

Honey G's own label this month released her new single Hit You With The Honey G.

She told The Sun: “My new single, Hit you with the Honey G was produced, arranged and composed by me and was mixed and mastered by Grammy Award Winner Liam Nolan from Metropolis Studios.

“All the samples were generated and sequenced by me and I recorded and produced the guitar in the chorus. In the song my lyrics are about my life and my experiences.”

Honey G added: “I’m at a point in my life where idols are becoming rivals."

Meanwhile, while Honey G is out of CBB another X Factor star is in with 2011 finalist turned West End performer Amelia Lily on the rumoured line up.
