X Factor duo Reggie n Bollie have revealed they're still in touch with mentor Cheryl.
The runners up to the 2015 series have said they and the Geordie songstress continue to work together, even if she is rather busy right now with her newborn son.
"A few months back we had dinner with her with our wives as well," Reggie explained. "Since then, we do message.
“Obviously she’s a very busy woman and we always want to respect the friendship we have with her, so when things need to be told, like we are bringing a song out, we message her."
He continued: "She will say ‘OK maybe I think we can correct this’ or ‘do this, do that’.
"She’s been 100% real with us and we are so happy to have met such a beautiful soul like Cheryl."
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Bollie added: “The way Cheryl treated us on the show was like she was a big sister, who always wanted to make sure we were doing our stuff well and treading on the right paths in life.
“Cheryl is amazing and the way she treated us we felt is the best thing – she’s going to be a wonderful and great mum."
Reggie n Bollie were runners up to Louisa Johnson on the X Factor in 2015 and were signed by Simon Cowell's Syco label shortly after the final.
The pair released debut single New Girl last year which peaked at Number 26 on the charts while follow up track Link Up failed to make the Top 40.
It was confirmed earlier this year that they've since parted ways from the music label.
A spokesperson for Syco confirmed the news in a short statement, saying: “Reggie ’N’ Bollie are no longer working with us. We wish the guys the best of luck for the future.”
Meanwhile, Reggie n Bollie appeared to celebrate getting dropped with a message on Twitter.
They wrote online: “WE'RE FINALLY INDEPENDENT N IT FEELS F#CKING RIGHT. #WeCallOurOwnShots #HappyNewMonth2Uall”
They've since bounced back with new single This Is The Life, which is out now.
