Cheryl and boyfriend Liam Payne announced at the weekend that they had welcomed a healthy son last week.
Now according to The Sun newspaper, Cheryl is set to scale back her music career.
The former Girls Aloud singer went solo in 2009 and had initial success with her song Fight For This Love and album 3 Words.
But follow ups didn't do so well and Cheryl's latest single, Only Human, missed the Top 40 completely when it was released in 2015.
Supposedly Cheryl's now going after a slice of the "mummy market" and has already been "inundated with offers to be the face of baby products and various ranges", according to sources.
One source told The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl concedes she can’t compete with the big names in the charts.
"She still wants to make music and was in the studio during the early days of her pregnancy.
"But it’s not her number one focus any more, even though making music remains a huge passion."
Cheryl's last album Only Human was released in 2014 and has sold at least 60,000 copies.
