X Factor's Ryan Lawrie has announced his very own headlining tour following last year's show.
It proves just once again, winning isn't everything.
Ryan finished sixth in The X Factor last month, ending a pretty epic year for the 20-year-old.
He was crowned a Vodafone Future Breaker artist, appeared at CapitalFM’s Summertime Ball alongside acts including Little Mix, Jess Glynn, Tinie Tempah and Ariana Grande, and of course performed weekly in the live finals of The X Factor.
Now Ryan is excited to hit the road and play at some incredible venues in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Fans can expect to hear their favourite songs from The X Factor, as well as brand new original material, which will be debuted at the shows.
His 11 date tour will start in March, following straight after The X Factor's arena shows, which begin in Nottingham next month where Ryan will sing alongside the rest of last year's finalists.
For the last couple of months, Ryan has been locked in the recording studio, penning tracks for a number of other artists.
Rumour has it that he is set to land a deal with a major publishing company – enabling him to put his passion for writing to good use.
A source said recently: "He's putting his own music career on hold to write other songs for others.
"He's working with some pretty decent people in the industry and has had interest from major publishing companies."
That means these tour dates will be the last chance to catch Ryan live in a city near them for a little while.
Pre-Sale tickets go on sale Wednesday 1st February at 9 AM, followed by General Sale on Friday 3rd February at 9AM.
