X Factor's Matt Terry and Freddy Parker are parting ways after moving in together.
The pair were house hunting in London before Christmas following last month's X Factor final, The Sun newspaper had reported.
A source told the tabloid: “The boys get on so well and were both planning on moving into London anyway so decided to move in together.
“Matt’s not shy about telling people. He’s moving in with his best mate so he doesn’t see it as a big deal.”
"So me and the little bro @FreddyParker98 just found an awesome apartment 👌🏼 Bring on the man caveeeeeeee" Matt tweeted at the time.
However it seems the pair have now called time on their flat share after just 17 days.
"Yeah we’ve moved in but I think he might be moving again at some point," Matt revealed this week. "We haven’t had a house-warming... he’s a bit far away, but at the moment we are all so busy that I don’t get to see anyone.”
And he told the Daily Star he was now eager to begin work on his winner's album.
“I start writing next week so I’m really excited," he said.
Following his victory on The X Factor last year, Matt had to deny he and Freddy were involved in a secret relationship after the final live show.
Some viewers were sure they saw Matt and Freddy "having a cheeky wee snog", to quote one user on Twitter, after he performed his winner's song for the first time and was joined on stage by the finalists.
Matt spoke out after the final to say the pair were just friends despite fans willing them together.
"I don’t know what this is about," Matt told The Sun newspaper. “Freddy is my little brother, we hit it off straight away.
“Since day one, we are just bros man. We have such a bromance going – no relationship I’m afraid guys, I’m sorry to say. Sorry man.”
And Matt cheekily quipped: "I don’t think we kissed but he would have been lucky if I did.”
