Saara Aalto has shared an inspirational New Year's Eve message with fans following The X Factor.
The singer made an epic comeback on this year's show, going from being booed off the stage in the six chair challenge and singing off in the first two weeks to making the final.
And while she didn't quite win, Saara has already signed a major record deal with SOny Music UK and Finland.
This weekend Saara shared a throwback picture to her start of 2016, writing: "This picture was taken a year ago when I started my #nofear2016 with my new puppy Lilli in my arms☺ I had no idea what was about to happen, I only knew it was time to be brave.🌟 #tbt"
She added: "Thank you so so much for dancing this journey with me!! It's gonna be a great year #nofear2017 !! 🎉❤️ Love you!!"
To cap off what has been an epic year for Saara, this week she returned to her hometown where 10,000 people turned up to watch her sing.
And she was also named the Finnish person of the year after her success on The X Factor in the UK.
Saara wrote online: "What an honour to win the "Finnish person of the year" award by Iltalehti magazine. Thank you people for voting 🙏❤️
"What a great way to end this incredible year! It has given me (and hopefully you too!) strength to follow my heart even more. Focus on the things you enjoy the most "
