X Factor's Honey G is gearing up to release her single and is hoping for big things.
The North Weezy rapper was eliminated at the Quarter Finals of this year's show but has still been signed by Simon Cowell's Syco record label.
Her song The Honey G Show will be released to download and stream on Friday, as Honey G makes a bid to enter the chart alongside winner Matt Terry.
“It’s making my dreams come true. I’m ecstatic. I’ve never been this happy before in my life," said Honey G about her deal.
She told The Sun newspaper: “X Factor has completely turned my life around. It’s taken me from the gutter to this, a record deal offer. I’m so over the moon.”
And Honey G - who previously said she hoped to become as big as One Direction - is also hoping for more critical recognition.
“One day I’m going to be somewhere on live television, I might have a MOBO and I might have a Mercury," she said.
Honey G added: "I’ll say ‘Big up everyone who said I wasn’t gonna get a Mercury, big up everyone who said I wasn’t gonna get a MOBO, big up everyone who said I couldn’t have a No1 hit, big up everyone who said I couldn’t be a platinum selling artist.'
Who knows, maybe this time next year Honey G will be back on the stage of The X Factor live shows as a guest performer?
The Honey G Show is released on Friday, December 23.
