X Factor's Samantha Lavery is working on her own music following the live shows.
The singer finished this year's show in 7th place and isn't waiting around to get her music career going.
"Coming off the show I've literally hardly been home," she revealed this week. "I've been all over the placing doing shows, performing.
"I've been in the studio and writing original songs, it's the cliche living the dream, it's been amazing for me."
Speaking to Metro Radio, Sam went on to praise winner Matt Terry, raving: "He is amazing, he's so talented he's such a nice person."
There's been no talk of any record deal for Sam just yet but so far the rest of this year's finalists have proved rather successful with labels.
Winner Matt of course scooped a deal, signing with RCA Records, but both runners up Saara Aalto and 5 After Midnight are also said to have been signed.
As well as the top three, Honey G will have her own single out tomorrow after she was picked up by Simon Cowell's Syco record label.
Record deals or not, the top eight finalists - Matt, Saara, 5 After Midnight, Honey G, Sam, Emily Middlemas, Ryan Lawrie and 4 Of Diamonds - will reunite in the Spring for the show's live tour.
