X Factor's Matt Terry denies Freddy Parker romance: 'He's not my type!'

Matt Terry has insisted he's not dating fellow X Factor star Freddy Parker.

It was Matt who won The X Factor, but it wasn't just his victory creating headlines the next day.

Some viewers are sure they saw Matt and Freddy "having a cheeky wee snog", to quote one user on Twitter, after he performed his winner's song for the first time and was joined on stage by the finalists.

"Can Matt and Freddy just admit they're dating already," one viewer wrote online

"Matt and Freddy can now be known as #Fratt #xfactorfinal #MattTerry 😍" another posted as speculation over their friendship went wild.

The pair have since been spotted house hunting in London following last weekend's X Factor final, The Sun newspaper reports.

A source told the newspaper: “The boys get on so well and were both planning on moving into London anyway so decided to move in together.

“Matt’s not shy about telling people. He’s moving in with his best mate so he doesn’t see it as a big deal.”

"So me and the little bro @FreddyParker98 just found an awesome apartment 👌🏼 Bring on the man caveeeeeeee" Matt tweeted.

Speaking to OK! magazine this week (via DigitalSpy) about himself and Freddy, Matt insisted: "We didn't kiss! Literally, from way back at the start of the competition, we just hit it off and we've been best mates ever since.

"I love Freddy but he's not my type! No kiss happened!"

And on the topic of romances, Matt also laughed off the idea of him and mentor Nicole Scherzinger also hooking up.

He said: "I wish! I think it's more of a pat on the head and her saying: 'Aww bless him,' than anything else. She's like a big sister. We have the best relationship."
