X Factor's Saara Aalto plans to move to the UK permanently, following talks for a record deal.
Saara finished The X Factor second to Matt Terry in last week's closely fought final.
But Saara was far from disappointed.
"It’s all been such a huge surprise – I never expected to make it so far!" she raved this past week. "I was supposed to have some concerts in Finland the other week, but I had to cancel everything as I was still here.
"People were very understanding, though, and wanted me in the competition."
Reflecting back on her '''journey''', Saara said: "It’s changed completely, as soon as I made it to the live shows.
"I’ve embraced a different culture now and, whatever happens, London, I’m here to stay! I’ve met so many great people who are going to be my friends always. This is just the beginning of the rest of my life."
Speaking to Now magazine, Saara added: "I would’ve been happy with any outcome after making it that far.
"I told myself I wouldn’t be sad either way, as I was so proud of myself for making it to that point."
In the week rumours swirled that Saara was in talks to sign a record deal with a 'major label', after winner Matt penned his contract with RCA Records.
But for now, all we can do is wait and see!
Saara, Matt and the rest of the top eight finalists from The X Factor this year will appear in the live tour next Spring.
