X Factor singer James Hughes has revealed he's auditioned for the show once again.
The singer posted a snap of his application on Twitter this week, captioning the photo: "Lets make 2017 my year.. Try and try again, this time bigger and better!!
"Im ready for @TheXFactor series 14, are you!! ❌🎤"
James made it through to the final six in Nicole Scherzinger's Boys category this year but didn't make the cut to the live shows.
And James may not be the only familiar face returning to the audition rooms in 2017.
Kayleigh Marie Morgan hinted recently that she may return to the show next year too.
Like James, Kayleigh made it as far as judges' houses on this year's series before being sent home by mentor Simon Cowell.
He told her: "You've got a great energy about you. You're very honest and your voice is very pure... There are only three places and I had to say no to four people. The decision I've made is that for this year, you're not quite ready."
Kayleigh teased fans with a potential return on Twitter, posting a link to the X Factor application website captioned: "Do I?????????🙈"
"OMG without a doubt . Best singer I've heard in years 💟" One fan responded.
But another replied: "You are better than x factor xx"
Comebacks on The X Factor have often proved successful with Alexandra Burke winning the show after previously being sent home at judges' houses.
And of course this year Emily Middlemas made the semi-finals after a no from Cheryl at the penultimate stage back in 2014.
