Sharon Osbourne didn't join Saara Aalto at her X Factor homecoming gig, leaving Dermot O'Leary to step in.
It was X Factor host Dermot to the rescue after Sharon flew back to the US this week, as Saara went on the campaign trail ahead of the final.
While Louis Walsh joined 5 After Midnight and Nicole Scherzinger was with Matt Terry, Saara had Dermot by her side.
"Well, safe to say @saaraaalto homecoming went well on Monday. Kiitos Helsinki. Thanks for the loan of the snow queen. Quite a town you've got there," he tweeted.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Sharon has commitments in the US with her TV show but you would think in this week of all weeks, she might pull rank and join Saara.
“She badly needs the support but clearly she’s not exactly a high priority for her.”
Last month the tabloid reported that Sharon had 'virtually zero contact with her acts'. In one week, neither Overs category singers Saara nor Honey G saw Sharon at all until Saturday's rehearsals.
However they weren't being completely left alone.
A source told the tabloid: “Sharon barely sees her contestants. She has a team to look after them while she flies back to Los Angeles every week.”
Yesterday Saara continued to campaign for votes in London with a meet and greet for fans in Leicester Square.
As well as British supporters, the singer was also met by those who had been backing her from across the world as she took pictures and gave autographs.
"When you're in The X Factor bubble, you don't really know what people are thinking about you, it's so nice to see you and hear you supporting me," Saara told the crowd.
The X Factor 2016 final airs this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
