The last of the Overs singer says she looks up to the rapper, who was eliminated in the Quarter Finals last month.
"She’s my inspiration in a way because she’s doing her own thing," Saara said this week. “If Honey can be who she is, then I can be who I am – there’s room for everybody.”
While Honey G has now left the house, she and Saara are still in touch after being mentored together by Sharon Osbourne in the same category
"I saw her and she said: ‘Saara, you’re doing so well.’," Saara told Now magazine.
In the chat, Saara also spoke about her new title as favourite to win the show.
The Finnish singer confessed she never expected to make it to the final after appearing in the sing-off for the first two weeks, even making plans on the assumption she'd have been eliminated by now.
Saara explained: “I was supposed to have concerts in Finland last week but I’ve had to cancel everything.”
In the final this weekend Saara's set to perform alongside Adam Lambert in a bid to win the show.
However the Finn faces competition from 5 After Midnight and Matt Terry who will be hoping to beat her.
The X Factor 2016 final airs this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM live from Wembley Arena.
