Last weekend the random Jukebox picked out a Christmas theme for the this Saturday's latest set of live performances, a little earlier than one might have expected.
But that's not all as the final four, for only the second time this series, will be singing two songs each, the second will be a track to 'get them to the final'.
Matt's Christmas song is the hymn Silent Night while his song to make the final is Jessie Ware's Say You Love Me.
They sound like fine choices to us but will it be enough to guarantee a place in the final?
So far Matt has NEVER been in the sing off so his chances are looking good and he remains the favourite to win ahead of the weekend.
He'll be hoping to win his way into next week's final against Saara Aalto, Emily Middlemas and 5 After Midnight.
According to bookies BoyleSports, 5 After Midnight and Emily are both lingering along the elimination line after last week; however it is 5 After Midnight who are the current 5/4 favourites for the axe.
But with just four acts left it could end up being incredibly close come Sunday night's results...
The X Factor 2016 semi-finals air Saturday and Sunday night on ITV at 8PM.
As well as the performances from the contestants, there will be guest appearances from Lady Gaga and Zara Larsson.
Then next weekend is the grand X Factor 2016 FINAL live from Wembley Arena as this year's winner is crowned.
