The X Factor has a new ratings rival on the weekends and it's smashing the singing show's viewing figures.
While on Saturday night X Factor does war with Strictly it's now facing new BBC One nature documentary series Planet Earth on Sundays.
The show, which airs directly against The X Factor's results at 8PM, has proved a mega ratings hit.
Over 10 million viewers tuned in for the second instalment with every episode watched by at least 9 million viewers, better than any episode of The X Factor this year.
But what's more, Planet Earth II is even being watched by more of The X Factor's valuable younger viewers in the 16 to 34 age bracket.
Sir David Attenborough narrates the BBC series which has wowed viewers with its stunning footage of animals across the globe.
And he told the Radio Times magazine: “I’m told that we are attracting a larger than normal number of younger viewers and apparently the music of Hans Zimmer in particular is striking a chord.
"That pleases me enormously.”
Both Planet Earth II and The X Factor continue this Sunday night at 8PM on BBC One and ITV respectively.
